Marshall Point Lighthouse

Marshall Point Lighthouse is ready for this winter... and many, many more...

This antique lighthouse, museum and residence is situated at the entrance to Port Clyde harbor, in Penobscot Bay, Maine. The residence was built in 1895, last renovated in 1988, and according to the current resident, it was “very drafty and impossible to heat”.

The windows, as with all updates to this historic structure, needed to meet Maine historical reproduction standards.

Linwood’s custom replacement windows are pine, with mahogany sills to best withstand the extreme weather on this rocky point jutting out into the Atlantic.

We saw the resident the other day, who reports that she is “very happy, warm and cozy, and really enjoying her home!”
