classic beauty for this modern addition to an elegant Victorian home.
The three layers of glass are low-e coated
and argon filled for optimum energy efficiency.

This large, solid wood window can be fingertip opened and

Lift & Slides Outshine Typical Sliding Doors

Lift & Slide doors allow flexible configuration of
movable and fixed panels for custom entryways.

Lift & Slides create a wall of glass that lets light in
while sealing tight against extreme weather.

Lift & Slides can be up to 60 sq. ft. each
while still moving at the touch of a finger.

Lift & Slide carriage system rolls on a rail,

and then locks down tight,

with a turn of the handle.

Lift & Slide doors open by sliding over a fixed glass panel or into an interior pocket.  Linwood custom makes your doors, so you can choose the size, as well as wood, glass, hardware and finishes.

To learn more about how Linwood's Lift & Slide doors could work in your home, call us at 207-701-1508.

Arched Entry We Love

The stately arched entry to the
Buckley Building, Concord, MA
built around 1920

We love that the original wood doors have survived and
are still in use after many years of re-use and renovations!

As shown here, well made wooden doors like these, that are
protected from the weather can last for many generations.

Originally this was built as Concord High School;
today it provides residential space within walking distance
of the Concord Public Library and historic Concord Center.
